TEETH ALIGNMENT WITHOUT WIRES (CLEAR ALIGNERS): The latest technology aligns the malposition (crowded/spacing) teeth without wire. The set of clear trays are used to correct the crowded teeth. The impressions are made and sent to the laboratory. A series of 20-30 aligners are made  in the laboratory using the Computer Aided Design software which simulates the tooth movement. Stereolithographic technology is used to build precise molds of the teeth at each stage which helps in making the series of  aligners.
 

RETENTION: The teeth have to be held in their new position after completion of fixed appliances treatment using certain removable appliances called Retainers. Should this phase be neglected, all the good work can be undone and the whole process may have to be repeated.
